N. Lygeros: Aloe Vera and Zeolite

We are all familiar with the properties of aloe vera, as we are able to buy products that contain it. On the other hand, we say we take an interest in the plants in our gardens, but we lay turf simply to be fashionable. Yet all of us in Cyprus could have Aloe vera in our gardens – even if it’s not the ‘Garden of Eden’ variety – so that we can use it directly, without any intermediaries. Furthermore, this crop can very easily be enhanced through the use of zeolite, to aid growth even in difficult conditions where water is scarce. The combination of Aloe Vera and zeolite may, in fact, be a sound investment for those seeking smarter solutions to finally live – rather than merely survive – amidst a social misery that devalues every effort. Whilst aloe vera and zeolite represent timeless values for the progress of humanity.
In Cyprus, it is even more regrettable that they are virtually unknown in practical terms, whilst the climate is ideal for growing these crops. In fact, there is already a partnership between Crete and Cyprus precisely because Cyprus’s climate is even better suited to these plants. So Crete transports them to Cyprus and, once they have ripened, takes them back for sale. But the aim here is to raise awareness amongst every citizen of Cyprus.
