An Introduction to Zeolytics – N. Lygeros
When we begin to understand just how important zeolite is in agriculture and realise that we are preparing to move on to the stage of zeoponisation, we gradually create a framework that serves as an introduction to zeolite farming. This is because we see that farmers need practical advice on applying and incorporating zeolite into their crops. zeolite is not a panacea, but an effective tool for farmers, not only in theory but also in practice. We therefore need people who specialise in zeolite so that they can answer all the practical questions concerning a very wide range of plants. This is what we are now calling ‘zeoponists’. Essentially, they must have knowledge of agriculture and practical experience with zeolite. Otherwise, farmers will initially embark on a process of experimentation, but will never have actually tried the product. In reality, the zeolite specialist operates in a complementary rather than a competitive capacity, as they advise exclusively on the use of zeolite in both conventional and organic farming, which helps immensely with the transition from one to the other. This is because the evidence is no longer merely scientific, but also based on practical experience, with results we can well imagine. This is because we already have producers who are using zeolite, but its potential is barely being utilised and, in fact, it is used more for information purposes than for production. However, zeolite farming has a great deal to offer agriculture.
