Personal Data Protection

The management and protection of the personal data of the visitor/user of the services of Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the e-shop is subject to the terms of this section and the relevant provisions of Greek (Law 2472/1997 for the protection of the individual from the protection of personal data as supplemented by the decisions of the President of the Personal Data Protection Commission, Decree 207/1998 and 79/2000 and Article 8 of Law 2819/2000) and European law (Directives 95/46/EC and 97/66/EC). These terms are formulated taking into account both the rapid development of technology and in particular the Internet and the existing – albeit not fully developed – legal framework on these issues. In this context, any possible relevant regulation will be the subject of this section. In any case, Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the online store reserves the right to change the terms of protection of personal data after informing visitors / users and within the existing or potential legal framework. If a visitor/user does not agree with the terms of protection of personal data provided in this section, he/she must not use the services of Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the e-shop.

The personal information that Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and its online store collects is the following:

Personal data: Each visitor can browse the Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr website and the online store without providing any personal information. We will only need personal data (your e-mail, a username and a password) when you place an order for services or products.

Information regarding the purchase of services and products: the necessary information for each transaction is your full name, a landline phone number, address (street, city, postal code) and type of document (receipt, invoice). At the same time, we voluntarily ask for your mobile phone number, in case we need to contact you directly or the transport company that will deliver our products to you.

Contact via Live Chat or e-mail contact form: When communicating with Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the online store via live chat or the e-mail contact form, the information we collect is the full name, email address, IP, date and time of communication and the text exchanged during this communication. This information is collected for the best customer service and for security reasons.

Document data

If we issue an invoice, we need the name of the company, the VAT number and the address of its headquarters.

Links

Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the online store include links (“links”) to other websites which are not controlled by the same but by third parties (natural or legal persons). Under no circumstances is Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the online store responsible for the Terms of Protection of Personal Data which they follow.

IP Addresses

The IP address through which the computer has access to the Internet and then to Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the online store is used exclusively for the collection of statistical data and the security of transactions.

Cookies

To be able to offer personalised service, most companies use alphanumeric identification files, called cookies. Cookies are divided into persistent and session cookies: persistent cookies remain on your hard drive after you have finished your visit, remembering a wide range of data which are used for the next visit. Session cookies are only used to recognise that you are logging in to the site, so that you do not need to be asked for a password on all pages that involve a data transaction. During the registration of the user to the subscriber list, our company collects the name and email provided by the user and which is stored in MailChimp (and in no other application), in order to send informative emails about the offers and news of the online store. The user’s email is kept within the MailChimp platform until the user chooses to unsubscribe from marketing emails. Unsubscribing can be done through any email the user has received and after clicking on the link “Unsubscribe from the list”/ Unsubscribe or by sending a message to e-shop@zeolife.gr, requesting to be removed from the subscriber list.

Third party vendors, including Google, may display advertisements of Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr on websites on the internet. For this reason, Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and third party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to update, optimize and display advertisements based on the user’s previous visit to the website of Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr as well as for remarketing activities. General conditions for the protection of personal data

Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the online store preserves the personal nature of your data and may not transfer them to any third party (natural or legal person) for any reason with the exception of relevant provisions of the law and only to the competent authorities.

Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the online store maintains records with personal data, which the visitor / user sends exclusively for communication, financial and tax purposes.

Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the online store can and is obliged to provide (after verification of data), a copy of a transaction document, in case a customer requests it, even if the latter is not the direct manager of the invoiced service.

The visitor/user can contact the relevant department in order to verify the existence of his/her personal record, its correction, change or deletion.

Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the online store and in particular the marketing department may process part or all of the data you have sent for statistical, financial and improvement of the services – information provided.

The personal data you provide in the online store are used exclusively by the store, EETT and FORTH, or its affiliated companies, for the purpose of supporting, promoting and executing the transactional relationship. Information from the file shall be communicated to the competent judicial, police and other administrative authorities at their legitimate request and in accordance with the legal provisions in force at the time. The Customer has, within the framework of the legislation on telecommunications privacy, the rights of information and objection provided for in Articles 11 to 13 of Law No. 2472/1997.

TRANSACTION SECURITY

Zeolithos | Zeolife.gr and the online store provides maximum security during the process of exchanging any information with your browser through the process of sending data using the SSL protocol. The SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol is currently the global standard on the Internet for the authentication of web sites to network users and for the encryption of data between network users and web servers.

An encrypted SSL communication requires all information sent between a client and a server to be encrypted by the sending software and decrypted by the receiving software, thus protecting personal information in transit.
