The revival of Greek morale – N. Lygeros

The revival of Greek morale must be a priority, because it affects everything from the economy and politics right through to our strategy. Greece occupies a geopolitical position of great value and significance; yet a sense of gloom paralyses so many factors that very few people are addressing these issues. Misery has no grandeur and does not help Greece. It is therefore essential that we overcome this situation by going the extra mile. It is not enough to talk about brutality when you do absolutely nothing to avoid being exposed. Because no one will follow you in this inaction. Here we need activists and fighters, and this is only possible when your morale is high. But for this to happen, you must produce results. And these results must have practical and tangible consequences. In this context, we now have the Greek EEZ, with the evaluation of bids from the licensing round for Block 2 and the Pyrros and Achilles fields, and the Greek zeolite, with the development of the deposit in the Kokkalo area in Northern Evros. These steps are important because everyone will see that when we are effective – because we operate strategically – the morale of the Greek people rises and they generate added value that benefits our entire nation.
