Experimental Greek zeolite
– N. Lygeros
Thanks to the zeolite exploration licence held by Giorgos Georgiadis in the Kokkalo area, we now have Greek zeolite in our hands for the first time, enabling us to carry out experiments and select applications. At present, of course, there are only a few kilograms available until the licence to mine Greek zeolite is granted, but it marks a symbolic beginning that proves the vision has become a reality, and now no one can dispute its existence, however slow on the uptake they may be. As we require material for experiments relating to Greek patents, we requested a specific particle size distribution, with two options in fact. George Georgiadis supplied us with two sacks. In both cases, the particle size is 20 μ, and this is the result of the machinery – crushers – located at his factory near Thessaloniki. This in itself is proof of technical expertise and effective technology in practice.
