Greek Natural Zeolite. Boosting the economy and protecting the environment
A meeting was held between Messrs Apostolos Kolitsas and Michalis Georgoulas, Vice-President of the Technical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE) for Central Greece and President of the Trikala Agricultural Association respectively….
Messrs Kolitsas and Georgoulas outlined to the Chamber’s leadership the multiple benefits arising, both for business activity and for environmental protection, arising from the use of Greek natural zeolite.
They also agreed that its sale to the general public must be accompanied by the necessary certificates of suitability from the relevant authorities, so that the desired results are achieved for every use, without any risk to humans or animals.
Greek natural zeolite ensures the quality of drinking water and is used in the treatment of various types of effluent (domestic, industrial, agricultural, radioactive waste), aids the growth and reproduction of many aquatic organisms, regulates the pH of the water towards neutrality, binds and removes heavy metals and radioactive nucleotides from the soil, etc.
All of this will be discussed in detail at 6 pm on Tuesday 11 February at the Trikala Cultural Centre, where Strategic Adviser Mr Nikos Lygeros will be the keynote speaker at a conference organised by GEOTEE K.E. and the Trikala Agricultural Association on the theme ‘Our future lies in zeolite. Uses: Agriculture – Livestock Farming – People’.
