New particle size distributions for certified Greek zeolite

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our products, we are pleased to announce that three new particle sizes of certified Greek zeolite are now available. In this way, we achieve the best possible results from zeolite applications across a wide range of sectors.

In the agricultural sector, it is now possible to improve soil quality in terms of water filtration or retention by applying the appropriate particle size.

For example, you can see below the appropriate materials for the relevant soil compositions in large-scale crops (trees, maize, cotton and other large-scale crops)

Light soil
- Greek zeolite, up to 1 millimetre (without incorporation)
- Greek zeolite from 0 to 2.5 millimetres

Medium soil
- Greek zeolite from 1 to 2.5 millimetres

Heavy soil:
- Greek zeolite from 2.5 to 5 millimetres

In the livestock sector, Greek zeolite with a particle size of up to 1 millimetre and free from dust is now available, for optimal application on animal living areas.

Similarly, in the industrial sector, the range of applications is expanding in line with requirements.

Greek zeolite, ranging from 0 to 1 millimetre in powder form. It is used for very small- and small-scale applications such as nurseries and seedbeds, and more generally in soils with a light texture (sandy).

Greek zeolite, 0 to 2.5 millimetres in size, available as a powder and fine gravel.

Greek zeolite, 2.5 to 5 millimetres – gravel, ideal for use in large-scale crops

Greek zeolite, 1 to 2.5 millimetres in size, in the form of fine gravel.

Greek zeolite, 0 to 1 millimetre in size, in powder form. Used for incorporation on a very small and small scale, such as in nurseries and seedbeds, and more generally in soils with a light texture (sandy).

Zeolite in agriculture

zeolite is usually applied by incorporation into the soil in quantities ranging from 300 to 600 kg per stremma, depending on the soil type, the type of crop and the soil’s particle size distribution.
