zeolite can help agriculture, emphasised Mr Nikos Lygeros from Moires!
zeolite can help agriculture, emphasised Mr Nikos Lygeros from Moires! Nikos Lygeros, the man with the highest IQ in Greece, spoke last night at the Moires Multicentre, as a guest of DRO! The brilliant scientist spoke about zeolite and the beneficial properties its use can bring to the primary sector, and to crops in particular! Specifically, according to what he said, as well as the relevant articles he has published, it helps agriculture: • As a 100 per cent natural product, it can be used in organic farming. Its beneficial effects are long-lasting, as it does not break down like ... Read more

G. Pavlidis is determined to take the Zeolite issue forward
Regional Governor Giorgos Pavlidis has a packed schedule; as we all know, he works tirelessly, and a single phone call on Saturday morning meant he had to deal three matters: the TAP pipeline, zeolite and the manufacture of Greek machinery, which must now earn the trust of the Greek people. He informed us, whilst returning from Kavala, that regarding the TAP pipeline there are some difficulties in bringing the discussions to a successful conclusion; however, as he emphasised, the whole process is on the right track. Responding to a question about zeolite, he explained that, through microparticle processing, those who ... Read more

Precipitation of tartaric acid in wine and zeolites [French text]
Read more

Enhancing the removal of arsenic, boron and heavy metals in groundwater-fed wetlands using various mass-support media
The presence of arsenic and heavy metals in drinking water sources poses a serious health risk due to chronic toxicological effects. Constructed wetlands have the potential to remove arsenic and heavy metals, but little is known about pollutant removal efficiency and reliability of wetlands for this task. This lab-scale study investigated the use of vertical subsurface flow constructed wetlands for removing arsenic, boron, copper, zinc, iron and manganese from synthetic wastewater. Gravel, limestone, zeolite and cocopeat were employed as wetland media. Conventional gravel media only showed limited capability in removing arsenic, iron, copper and zinc; and it showed virtually no ... Read more
