Our company is engaged in the implementation and sale of certified natural zeolite of European origin and Greek aluminous diatomite. The zeolite content in clinoptilolite for agricultural and livestock use is at least 85% and is available in various granulometries depending on its use. Our goal is to spread the innumerable applications of these natural inert minerals, resulting in the immediate benefit of their properties in areas such as agriculture, livestock farming, the environment and human health. We ship the same day across Greece and the rest of Europe from our warehouse in Thessaloniki and Nea Orestiada. We offer wholesale and retail prices.
Mapping Greek zeolite – N. Lygeros
With the new data from the Kokkalo area near Petrota, in Northern Evros, the mapping of Greek zeolite is revealing more and more information about these strategic reserves of our country. The recording of geological data and the identification of zeolite tuffs now give us a clearer picture of the location of the deposits of interest to us due to their high clinoptilolite content. In other words, we no longer rely solely on estimates, as we did previously for the area, but tangible results – and indeed, some of these are backed up by chemical analyses, thanks to the tremendous ... Zeolite Crystal Growth (ZCG) – International Space Station – 13 May 2015
ISS Science for Everyone Science Objectives for Everyone The ZCG investigations examined how subtle changes in the chemical formulation affected nucleation and growth of zeolite crystals. The microgravity environment allowed researchers to grow higher-quality crystals. These crystals have a number of useful commercial applications as catalysts and absorbents. Science Results for Everyone Information Pending The following content was provided by Albert Sacco, Jr., Ph.D., and is maintained in a database by the ISS Program Science Office. Rural development policy and Greek zeolite – N. Lygeros
Rural development policy is one of the most important sectors in Greece. Of course, we have become accustomed to hearing about farmers in a passive way, in the context of subsidies, without realising what an important role they play for our country. We have a land with great potential and enormous diversity. We must make the most of these assets and showcase them. In this context, Greek zeolite can play a huge role, as it protects the soil, enables water savings for irrigation, avoids the need for heavy-duty pesticides, reduces the use of fertilisers – as cultivation becomes more efficient ... Extraction of Zinc, Copper and Lead Ions with a Zeolite Loaded with a Multidentate Schiff Base Ligand, Followed by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometric Analysis
DOI:10.1080/01496395.2015.1068332 Mahdeyeh Sheikhshoaieab, Tayebeh Shamspura, S. Zia Mohammadib Vahid Abstract A multi-element preconcentration–separation technique for metal ions is established. The procedure is based on complex formation of metal ions with Bis(2-hydroxy-1-naphtaldimine)-N-diethylentriamine (BHNDT) on nanoporous Analcime as sorbent followed by their determination using flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The effects of analytical parameters like pH, flow rates, eluent types and sorption capacity on the recoveries of metal ions are investigated. In order to predict the extraction ability of BHNDT for different metallic ions, DFT method is used to compute the binding energies of the cations to the title Schiff base compound. The ... Read more
From the Ministry of Finance to the Ministry of Environment and Energy – N. Lygeros
How much intelligence does one need to realise that, during an economic crisis, not all the solutions can be found at the Ministry of the Economy, since it can only manage what it already has? In other words, at best, this is a matter of cost-saving. So, as long as we do not invest – in the political sense – in the Ministry of Productive Reconstruction, Environment and Energy, we will not change the economic situation. Because through this Ministry we can not only bring about immediate change – for example, with the second offshore block in the Greek EEZ ... Read more
There is no excuse for Skouries – N. Lygeros
There is no excuse for Skouries. Whatever may be said, whatever promises may be made by all sides, it is unacceptable that work is continuing. We all know that this is not about gold, but about gold dust. We can all see that chemical mining is unacceptable. This whole process is driven solely by the gold market and cannot be considered a serious investment, even from an economic point of view. When you destroy everything, because you ignore everything, you cannot carry on without incurring a cost. Even the use of the police must stop, because this amounts to manipulation. ... Read more
EEZ and zeolite – N. Lygeros
The Greek EEZ and Greek zeolite are highly strategic tools and constructive solutions that can provide practical help to our country. Consequently, these are issues that we must promote under all circumstances, come what may, because they are not merely cost-saving measures, but measures for recovery and growth. With the EEZ and zeolite, we are also operating in the maritime context of the Ionian Sea, the Peloponnese and Crete, and on land in Macedonia and Thrace… Read the rest here: Lygeros.org
Patents involving Greek zeolite – N. Lygeros
Rather than waiting for everything to come to us, we must take steps towards innovation ourselves. With the first samples demonstrating the quality of Greek zeolite in the Kokkalo area, we have the opportunity to develop new products that offer added value. Greek zeolite is clinoptilolite, but each has its own local characteristics. Greek zeolite is of the Eulandite type. It therefore has a general formula: (Ca,Na₂)₂(Si₇Al₂O₁₈), 6H₂O, but as it is clinoptilolite, it contains the following elements: Si-Al-Na-K-Ca. However, as we are actually talking about zeolite tuff, there are always other elements present. Read the rest here: Lygeros.org
Strategic objective – N. Lygeros
It is now time to move on to the next stage, to stop focusing exclusively on the economy and to invest in strategic thinking. Enough already of this Greek-style culture of misery, where the whole point is how to undermine one another in order to win votes. We are part of Hellenism and must rise above these wretched party differences and disputes. We must devote all our energies to helping both Greece and Cyprus. If we do not have a strategic goal on which we all agree, then we deserve our fate. Read the rest here: Lygeros.org
Skouries in essence – N. Lygeros
Firstly, the unacceptable chemical extraction of gold must be stopped as soon as possible. Secondly, this has nothing to do with any promise, but with the fact that it is devastating for the environment and, more importantly, that it is irreversible. Thirdly, the exact number of workers is irrelevant; what matters is what alternative work we can offer them, and the answer is zeolite. Read the rest here: Lygeros.org
Strategic questions – N. Lygeros
We must ask strategic questions not at party level, but at national level. It is Greece that must have a high-level strategy. Now that we see that even at the level of the Prime Minister, clear reference is being made to the fact that leaving the euro without any possibility of financial support would mean rapid devaluation, harsh austerity and a renewed appeal to the International Monetary Fund for currency support, there is no need to wonder any longer what we are going to do in this regard. If you didn’t know, just ask! N. Lygeros
When we still hear people trying to justify their current position, despite having previously promised that chemical gold mining at Skouries would cease, saying that we must also consider the workers, this only serves to highlight the lack of awareness at the very highest level. Why can’t they consider that if the workers had jobs in a quarry mining zeolite, for example, the destruction of nature would cease that very same day? Read the rest here: lygeros.org
