zeolite gives life
and in that sense
it is a gift
to people
who are suffering
because they are unaware
of its existence.
So it is your duty
to make everyone
aware of it,
for it is a mission
that helps the innocent;
and if you encounter difficulties,
then know
that the value
of your struggle
for liberation
will only grow.
– Nikos Lygeros
Our company is engaged in the implementation and sale of certified natural zeolite of European origin and Greek aluminous diatomite. The zeolite content in clinoptilolite for agricultural and livestock use is at least 85% and is available in various granulometries depending on its use. Our goal is to spread the innumerable applications of these natural inert minerals, resulting in the immediate benefit of their properties in areas such as agriculture, livestock farming, the environment and human health. We ship the same day across Greece and the rest of Europe from our warehouse in Thessaloniki and Nea Orestiada. We offer wholesale and retail prices.
July 2014 is, at last, the month and year of Greek zeolite. After a long-standing campaign for Greek zeolite, we are now seeing the first tangible results. The Ministry of the Environment, Energy and Climate Change has given its approval for the technical study into the exploration of industrial minerals, specifically zeolite, covering an area…
Doctoral thesis, Author: Tzamos, Evangelos Ioannis, Supervisor: Filippidis, A., Professor, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Sciences, Department of Geology. The zeolite-bearing volcanic clastic sediments of Southern Xerovouni (Avdella, Evros Prefecture) contain, on average, 57% by weight of HEU-type zeolite, 6% by weight of smectite, 3% by weight of marmatite (a total of 66% by…
PhD Thesis – Author: Dionysiou, Ourania-Nina S., Supervisor: Misopolinos, Nikolaos, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Agriculture, 2010. This study investigated certain conditions that influence the adsorption of B and P on surface-modified natural zeolite (clinoptilolite), with hexadecyl-trimethyl-ammonium bromide (C19H42BrN or HDTMA–Br), with a view to its use as a decontamination agent for irrigation water…
Doctoral Thesis THOMA A. KOTSOPOULOU, Graduate in Agricultural Science, Graduate in Civil Engineering, MSc, IKY Scholarship Holder SUPERVISOR: Prof. Gerasimos Martzopoulos This study investigated the effect of adding different quantities of natural zeolite on the anaerobic degradation of pig farm effluent. In particular, the effect of adding zeolite on increasing the energy yield of the…
Thanks to the zeolite exploration licence held by Giorgos Georgiadis in the Kokkalo area, we now have Greek zeolite in our hands for the first time, enabling us to carry out experiments and select applications. At present, of course, there are only a few kilograms available until the licence to mine Greek zeolite is granted,…
A question was put to the Ministers for the Environment, Finance, Development and Rural Development, as well as the Minister for Macedonia and Thrace, was tabled by New Democracy MPs Alexandros Kontos and Evripidis Stylianidis, raising the issue of the utilisation of zeolite in Thrace.
