Meeting between the Mayor of Delta, M. Fotopoulos, and N. Lygeros

Professor Nikos Lygeros was welcomed by the Mayor of Delta, Mimis Fotopoulos, together with the Deputy Mayors and the Chairmen of the Local Councils. During the meeting, among other things, issues relating to the development of the Municipality of Delta were discussed, particularly the use of Greek zeolite in agriculture and the benefits this entails.

In fact, the possibility of organising a workshop in the near future, involving stakeholders and professionals from the Municipality of Delta, was considered.

Following the meeting, Mayor M. Fotopoulos made the following statement:

‘We had the pleasure and good fortune to welcome a distinguished Greek, N. Lygeros, and to have a particularly fruitful discussion with him. We are exploring every possible way to benefit our fellow citizens and local businesses, so that they can improve their productivity and efficiency. The development of the Municipality of Delta during these difficult times the region is going through is our top priority.”
